EFUP

The EFUP 5 mark (Environmental Friendly Use Period) is China's hazardous substance disclosure label, required under China RoHS II (Management Methods for the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products, effective July 2016). The number 5 inside the chasing-arrows symbol indicates that under normal operating conditions, the restricted substances within this product — including lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, and brominated flame retardants — will not leak or degrade in a way that poses environmental or health risks for a minimum of 5 years from the date of manufacture. This marking is a mandatory requirement for electronic products placed on the Chinese market under standard SJ/T 11364, and is present on the T16 MagSafe Power Bank as it is manufactured and sold in China by Shunhetai (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd. It is a China-specific regulatory mark and carries no UK or EU compliance significance, but reflects the thorough multi-market testing and disclosure process this product has undergone.
