Communications expert responsible for building visibility, culture, and momentum around Canard. This role leads PR, email marketing, influencers, collaborations, launch parties, networking, and brand partnerships.

You will help shape how the brand is experienced publicly and ensure every touchpoint feels social, elevated, and unmistakably Canard.

  • Lead outbound PR strategy including media relationships, story development, and press outreach
  • Drive collaboration opportunities with creators, influencers, venues, and aligned brands

  • Strong organization and ownership across multiple parallel projects and deadlines
  • Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-moving environment with high standards

Social Media Manager

London / Remote Full-time Position filled

Strategic content lead responsible for building and sustaining Canard's presence across social platforms. This role shapes how the brand communicates its process, products, and point of view — consistently and with intent.

You will manage the publishing calendar, grow a community of engaged followers and influencers, and ensure every post reflects the discipline and quality that goes into the products themselves.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with the brand's long-term identity
  • Build and moderate an engaged community across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and relevant platforms
  • Write precise, minimal copy that reflects the brand voice
  • Collaborate with the PR and content teams to maintain a unified voice across all digital touchpoints
  • Identify and feature customers' real-world use through thoughtful community engagement
  • Manage and respond to inbound messages on all digital platforms
  • Monitor performance and surface actionable insights for the wider team
  • Manage the publishing calendar with a focus on quality and consistency over volume

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing social media for a premium lifestyle, design, or technical brand
  • Exceptional short-form writing with a sharp eye for minimalist aesthetics
  • Ability to build genuine community through considered interaction rather than engagement tactics
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific nuances across Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging spaces
  • Cultural literacy and a genuine interest in design, materials, and well-made things
  • Data-literate — able to separate meaningful metrics from vanity numbers
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving environment

Content Creator — Photo & Video

London / Remote Full-time Position filled

Visual lead responsible for creating photo and video content that represents Canard products with accuracy and craft. This role documents the details — material, construction, real-world use — rather than staging impressions of them.

You will own end-to-end production of brand assets for social, web, and email, working closely with the team to ensure everything produced is precise, on-brand, and purposeful.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end production of photo and video content for social, web, and email
  • Shoot products in real-world environments — offices, airports, transit, everyday settings
  • Edit all assets to the Canard aesthetic: clean, considered, and focused on material detail
  • Create short-form video in collaboration with the Social Media Manager to communicate product features clearly
  • Maintain and organize the brand's visual library so assets are correctly filed and accessible to the team
  • Contribute to the visual direction of campaigns and lookbooks
  • Stay informed on visual trends while maintaining a consistent, timeless approach to brand imagery

Requirements

  • High proficiency in photography and videography — portfolio required
  • Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop
  • A sharp eye for detail — you notice what others miss and know how to foreground it
  • Experience shooting in live, dynamic environments as well as controlled studio conditions
  • Ability to deliver high-quality assets efficiently under deadline
  • A genuine interest in materials, industrial design, and minimalist aesthetics
  • Access to professional-grade equipment suitable for location shoots

Product Designer

London / Remote Full-time

Industrial or soft-goods designer responsible for the ongoing development of Canard's product line. This role prioritises function over form believing that the right answer is almost always the one that removes something unnecessary.

You will work on products built to last a decade, iterating on existing designs and developing new ones to a consistent standard: nothing added without purpose, nothing left unresolved.

Responsibilities

  • Iterate on existing products based on wear testing, field feedback, and production learnings
  • Develop technical specifications and tech packs for new product developments
  • Research and source high-performance materials
  • Build physical prototypes or manage the prototyping process with external manufacturing partners
  • Ensure every design decision serves a functional purpose and contributes to long-term product durability
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners to uphold production quality standards
  • Communicate design rationale clearly across the team, including to non-design stakeholders

Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or equivalent hands-on experience in soft goods or accessories
  • High proficiency in 3D modelling — Rhino, SolidWorks, or equivalent — and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Deep understanding of materials, construction methods, and manufacturing constraints
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a focus on functionality, minimalism, and precision
  • Self-disciplined and capable of managing design work independently
  • Strong communication skills for articulating decisions to the wider team
  • A genuine interest in how things are made and a bias toward resolving every detail

Founder's Associate — Operations & Coordination

London / Remote Full-time

Operations generalist working directly with the founders to keep the business running with precision. This role covers logistics, coordination, administration, and the things that don't fit neatly anywhere else.

You will be the operational backbone of the team — proactive, discreet, and comfortable handling whatever arises. If you need a clearly bounded job description at all times, this is not the role.

Responsibilities

  • Support the founder with daily operations, calendar management, and strategic prioritisation
  • Coordinate logistics between manufacturers, warehouses, and the internal team
  • Handle administrative infrastructure including vendor relations, sampling, office operations, and billing
  • Lead special initiatives such as pop-ups, new market entries, and internal events as project manager
  • Draft internal communications and assist with reports and presentations for partners
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and design better systems to address them
  • Do what is required to keep things moving — no task is outside the scope of this role

Requirements

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail — nothing slips through unnoticed
  • Proactive and resourceful — you solve problems before they surface
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a professional, direct tone
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams without losing focus on the details
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and the shifting priorities of a growing startup
  • High discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive business information
  • Previous experience in an operations, EA, chief of staff, or startup coordinator role preferred

Customer Experience & Operations Associate

London / Remote Full-time

Customer-facing operations role responsible for the end-to-end experience of owning a Canard product. This role handles all customer communication, fulfillment oversight, and the feedback loop between customers and the wider team.

You will ensure every customer interaction reflects the same standard as the products — considered, precise, and built to hold up. You will also surface what customers are saying in a way the team can act on.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all customer inquiries with a focus on high-quality, personalised communication
  • Oversee the fulfilment process, ensuring orders are processed and dispatched correctly
  • Translate customer feedback into structured insights for the product and design teams
  • Manage returns and repairs, ensuring the brand stands behind what it sells
  • Troubleshoot shipping and logistics issues with global partners and carriers
  • Build and maintain the FAQ and knowledge base to improve self-serve support
  • Support the Founder's Associate with general operational tasks as the business scales

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer success, e-commerce operations, or premium retail
  • Genuine empathy and a desire to resolve problems well, not just quickly
  • Excellent written communication — clear, considered, and consistently on-brand
  • Comfortable with e-commerce and CRM tools including Shopify, Gorgias, or equivalent
  • Highly organised under volume — able to manage many tasks without sacrificing quality
  • Hands-on attitude and willingness to assist with logistics when the situation calls for it
  • Alignment with the brand's values: durability, utility, and attention to detail
