Iterating at Speed: 3D Printing Our Dual-Sided MagSafe Power Banks

Speed and precision meet in our latest project: a dual-sided MagSafe power bank. To get the ergonomics exactly right, we’ve turned to 3D printing for our rapid prototyping phase. This technology allows us to move from a digital concept to a physical model in days rather than weeks, significantly accelerating our development cycle.

These 3D-printed prototypes are essential for evaluating the subtle nuances of the design that a screen simply can't capture. We are currently obsessed with the "hand-feel"—testing various form factors, beveled edges, and overall shapes to ensure the bank sits comfortably against your phone and in your pocket. By printing multiple sizes and configurations, we can stress-test the performance and fit before moving into final production.
