Performance

We use a high-efficiency lithium-polymer cell selected for consistent output and long-term stability. Power delivery is managed through an onboard control system that monitors temperature, current, and voltage in real time to maintain safe, efficient charging. Magnetic alignment reduces resistance at the contact point, improving transfer efficiency and minimizing energy loss. Internal shielding is tuned to limit signal interference, and the housing is engineered to distribute heat evenly during sustained use. Every component is specified to perform reliably over repeated charge cycles, so the power bank remains steady, predictable, and ready for daily use.

Canard Power Bank

A compact magnetic power solution built for how you actually use your phone. Dual-sided magnetic design allows Power Bank to attach securely to either side of your device or to any MagWeave-enabled accessory. It holds in place without clips, straps, or cables, keeping power aligned exactly where it needs to be. No wobble. No adjusting. Just a steady connection that feels natural in hand, in a pocket, or on a desk.

The slim profile makes it easy to carry daily without adding bulk. Snap it on to top up while you walk, work, or commute. Set it down and continue using your phone without interruption. Charge your phone and wireless earbuds in sequence when you’re traveling or away from outlets. Dual-magnetic faces allow seamless integration into bags, stands, and surfaces within the ecosystem, forming a modular kit that adapts to your day.

Designed for everyday routine, weekend movement, and focused workspace setups — a dependable source of power that stays with your device instead of dangling from it.

See the work behind the Canard Power Bank. We filtered posts directly from our Antisocial Feed to document the unpolished journey of creation. From the external inspirations and objects that sparked the idea for our Power Bank, to the design, prototyping, and manufacturing phases—this is the nitty-gritty reality that most brands hide

Verified Exploring two approaches for t... more Exploring two approaches for the Power Bank’s battery indicator. Numeric LEDs give precise percentage readouts but require more space, circuitry, and visual brightness to remain legible outdoors. Five-segment LED bars are simpler, faster to read, and more durable, but they trade accuracy for a coarse 20% step view of remaining charge. We’re testing both to see which aligns better with real-world use, pocketability, and the overall design of the ecosystem. view post
Verified This rare-earth magnet array c... more This rare-earth magnet array component allows for perfectly aligned connection between devices and ensures Qi2 standards. Testing various weight to strength ratios with this particular component at N52 magnetic strength, which is extremely strong.  Qi2 uses magnetic coils that vibrate at specific frequencies (87-205 kHz) to wirelessly transfer up to 15W of power—think of it like two guitar strings that resonate together. The magnetic ring's job is to perfectly line up these coils, which older Qi chargers struggled with, boosting efficiency from around 60% to over 75%. The system constantly monitors itself through feedback loops to optimize power transfer and... view post
Verified We were hoping to add magnetic... more We were hoping to add magnetic charging for Apple Watch and Airpods but the magnetic connection is too weak. Watch and Airpods do attach by magnets but the small magnet (you can see if in the middle of the copper coils) is not strong enough to hold either device in any active environment. Not ideal for on the go charging. So we're going to skip this in V1. view post
Verified Today we are creating multiple... more Today we are creating multiple prototypes of the magnetic charging array. Qi2 standards are being implemented along with magnetic strength testing. The copper coils are what transmit the power between our Power Bank and the device. view post
Verified Some manufacturers still rely ... more Some manufacturers still rely on loose, scavenged 18650 lithium-ion cells like these—cells with inconsistent chemistry, degraded cycle life, and unknown thermal history. Packs built from mixed or rewrapped cells suffer from cell imbalance, elevated internal resistance, and a higher likelihood of thermal runaway under load. This is exactly why we refuse to use non-solid, non-traceable cells. Our power systems are built around semi-solid-state batteries: matched, grade-A cells with tighter electrolyte containment, higher thermal stability, and fully documented provenance. Reliability starts at the chemistry level, and we only build on platforms engineered for safety and consistency. view post
